The Power Of Sacrifice
King David understood a powerful principle that our self-focused world has forgotten: true sacrifice must cost us something. When offered free materials for his altar, David insisted on paying, declaring he wouldn't offer God something that cost him nothing. This reveals four life-changing results of genuine sacrifice: it breaks pride and selfishness, grants spiritual authority, changes lives eternally, and brings us into God's presence. Sacrifice isn't just about money but choosing to put others first through forgiveness, service, and love. When we become living sacrifices, offering our hearts to God, we discover the transformative power that changed the world through the cross.
