Why The Spirit Is Worth Shouting About
Jesus made a revolutionary promise during the Feast of Tabernacles when He shouted that anyone who is thirsty can come to Him and drink. He wasn't just offering physical refreshment, but promised that rivers of living water would flow from believers' hearts through the Holy Spirit. This promise was fulfilled on Pentecost and remains available today to anyone who recognizes their need for God. The Holy Spirit isn't a limited resource to be rationed, but a flowing river that can satisfy every thirst and need in our lives. We receive this gift simply by coming to God with thirsty hearts and being open to His work in our lives.
