We have been serving the community of Frankston and beyond since 1986. Within you will find a community of people that have an authentic, personal relationship with Jesus Christ, whom we believe to be the Son of God and the Saviour of our world. We love Him with all of our hearts and express this through our lives and worship.
His love for us overflows from us to others as we love people genuinely and without prejudice. By passionately loving God and loving people we believe that our church becomes a place where broken hearts are healed, relationships restored and lives are changed forever.

Connect Christian Church is part of the Australian Christian Churches (formerly Assemblies of God), the largest Pentecostal group of churches in Australia.
We believe in our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, fully God and fully man, who has paid the price for our sins and reconciles us to God through His death and resurrection. Anyone that believes in Him will not perish but will inherit eternal life.

The Bible
We believe that the Bible is God’s Word. It is accurate, authoritative and applicable to our every day lives.
The Trinity
We believe in one eternal God who is the Creator of all things. He exists in three Persons: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. He is totally loving and completely holy.
Sin & Separation
We believe that sin has separated each of us from God and His purpose for our lives.
Jesus Christ
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ as both God and man is the only One who can reconcile us to God. He lived a sinless and exemplary life, died on the cross in our place, and rose again to prove His victory and empower us for life.
New Birth
We believe that in order to receive forgiveness and the ‘new birth’ we must repent of our sins, believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and submit to His will for our lives.
Baptism & the Spirit
We believe that in order to live the holy and fruitful lives that God intends for us, we need to be baptised in water and be filled with the power of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit enables us to use spiritual gifts, including speaking in tongues which is the initial evidence of baptism in the Holy Spirit. We believe that God has individually equipped us so that we can successfully achieve His purpose for our lives which is to worship God, fulfil our role in the Church and serve the community in which we live.
Healing & Eternity
We believe that God wants to heal and transform us so that we can live healthy and prosperous lives in order to help others more effectively. We believe that our eternal destination of either Heaven or hell is determined by our response to the Lord Jesus Christ.
His Return
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ is coming back again as He promised.

Who is Jesus Christ to you? +

What do you mean by ‘grace’? +
Grace is God’s undeserved kindness toward us. It can’t be earned through good behaviour — it’s freely given through Jesus, and we believe it changes everything.
Do I need to have it all together to belong here? +
Not at all. We’re all imperfect people loved by a perfect God. You don’t need to have your life sorted — just a willingness to explore faith and take the next step.
What does baptism mean at Connect? +
Baptism is a meaningful next step in following Jesus — a public declaration of faith that pictures a fresh start, leaving an old life behind and rising into new life in Christ.

What is fasting, and why do you do it? +
Fasting means setting something aside, often food, to focus more fully on God through prayer. It’s not about rules — it’s about making space to hear God’s voice and grow spiritually.
