Quiet Strength Steady Faith

Message Moments & Highlights

Being chosen by God means living with purpose, bearing fruit, and continuing the work of the Lord. Do not stop when it gets hard. Do not stop when people speak against you. Keep going, because you are chosen.

Serve in God’s strength, not your own. God never asks for a servant to be self-sufficient. The strength to serve does not come from personality, talent, or confidence. It comes from God.

Following Jesus means living for what pleases God, even when it is not easy and even when it is not comfortable. True obedience is found in surrender, not convenience.

Quiet Strength Steady Faith

Isaiah 42:1 introduces God's servant as one who is chosen, strengthened, and pleasing to Him. This prophecy came during a time when Israel faced pain and uncertainty, yet God promised not a political warrior but a servant with quiet strength and compassion. This servant, ultimately fulfilled in Jesus Christ, demonstrates what it truly means to serve God faithfully.Three key principles emerge from this passage. First, being chosen by God means standing firm in our God-given identity and purpose, even through difficulties. As John 15:16 reminds us, we are chosen to bear lasting fruit. Second, we must serve in God's strength, not our own. The phrase 'whom I strengthen' reveals God's active support of His servants. Third, we must live to please God above all else, showing tender care for the vulnerable and persevering until justice prevails. Jesus perfectly embodied these qualities, demonstrating compassion without seeking attention and maintaining unwavering commitment to His mission. When life becomes challenging, serving God often becomes our first sacrifice, but true servants remain faithful regardless of circumstances.

  • Look at My Servant: What It Means to Be Chosen by God

What does it truly mean to be a servant of God? In Isaiah 42:1, God introduces His servant with these powerful words: "Look at my servant whom I strengthen. He is my chosen one who pleases me."

This passage describes the coming Messiah during a time when the people of Israel were experiencing deep pain, injustice, and uncertainty. Rather than promising a political warrior or celebrity leader, God introduces His servant—someone with quiet strength, steady faith, and compassion.

Being a faithful servant means enduring through all seasons. Let's explore three foundational keys to serving God faithfully, regardless of circumstances.

What Does It Mean to Be Chosen by God?

The first key is understanding that you are chosen by God. Isaiah 42:1 states, "Look at my servant... He is my chosen one." Being chosen means standing firm in your identity as God's servant, even when life gets difficult.

You are not a mistake or an accident. You weren't an afterthought in God's plan. You were specifically chosen by Him for a purpose.

However, being chosen doesn't mean being spared from pain. In fact, Isaiah 53 describes how the chosen servant was "pierced for our rebellion, crushed for our sins... beaten so we could be whole." Jesus, the ultimate fulfillment of this prophecy, wasn't chosen to escape suffering but to endure it for others.

John 15:16 reminds us: "You didn't choose me. I chose you. I appointed you to go and produce lasting fruit." The purpose of being chosen is to bear fruit and do God's work—not to stop when challenges arise.

Are you living as someone chosen by God? Remember, you may not be the world's first pick, but you're God's first choice to fulfill His purpose for your life.

How Do We Serve in God's Strength?

The second key is serving in God's strength, not your own. Isaiah describes the servant as one "whom I strengthen." God doesn't ask for self-sufficient servants; He provides the strength needed to serve.

The strength to serve doesn't come from personality, talent, or confidence—it comes directly from God. He doesn't care about your appearance or abilities; He cares about your connection to Him.

The phrase "whom I strengthen" literally means "to take hold of, to support, to uphold." God doesn't merely cheer from a distance; He takes hold of His servants and carries them through challenges.

Jesus modeled this by regularly withdrawing from crowds to spend time with the Father, seeking renewed strength. Spiritual strength doesn't come from a single burst of energy but from daily connection with God.

As Jesus said in John 15:5, "I am the vine; you are the branches. Those who remain in me, and I in them, will produce much fruit. Apart from me you can do nothing."

Are you trying to serve God in your own strength? What would change if you shifted to serving from His strength instead?

How Can We Please God Through Service?

The third key is living to please God above all else. Isaiah 42:1 continues, "He is my chosen one who pleases me." The New King James Version translates this as "in whom my soul delights."

God isn't impressed by platforms, personalities, or performances. He's drawn to hearts that are fully His. But how does a servant please God?

    Isaiah 42:2-4 provides insight:

    • "He will not shout or raise his voice in public" - The servant isn't forceful or attention-seeking.

    • "He will not crush the weakest reed or put out the flickering candle" - The servant shows tender care for the vulnerable.

    • "He will not falter or lose heart until justice prevails" - The servant perseveres to the end.

Jesus embodied this perfectly, saying in John 8:29, "The one who sent me is with me. He has not deserted me, for I always do what pleases him."

Pleasing God isn't about instant success; it's about enduring obedience. God's servant doesn't quit when justice feels slow, when the world seems indifferent, or when the mission feels costly.

Why Do We Often Give Up Serving God First?

When life gets challenging, why is serving God often the first thing we abandon? We might say we're too busy, too stressed, or not in the right headspace to serve.

But serving God isn't about being in the right headspace—it's a heart commitment. God doesn't just want us to show up at church on Sunday; He wants us to serve Him with our entire lives.

What does serving God look like in your community, family, workplace, or social circles? Isn't God greater than our challenges, situations, brokenness, and heartache?

    Who Is the Ultimate Servant?

Matthew 12:18-21 quotes Isaiah 42, showing that Jesus perfectly fulfilled God's description of the coming servant. Everything God said His servant would be, Jesus lived perfectly.

Jesus is the servant who was chosen, strengthened, and who pleased God. He showed compassion to the vulnerable, persevered through challenges, and never gave up His mission.

    Life Application

What kind of servant do you want to be? Do you want to be someone who serves when it's convenient, or do you want to be a servant about whom God says, "Look at my servant"?

    This week, consider these questions:

    1. In what areas of your life are you trying to serve in your own strength rather than God's?

    2. Are there places where you're more focused on pleasing people than pleasing God?

    3. What one change could you make this week to better reflect the servant heart of Jesus?

    4. Who around you is like a "bruised reed" or "smoldering wick" that needs your gentle care?

Remember, there's more to you than what you see in yourself. God sees you as chosen, strengthened by Him, and capable of living a life that pleases Him. You are His servant, and He delights in you.

  • This morning, Church, I want to share with you on the theme of serving a servant. And before I get into it, I do want to honour and thank everyone that serves within these church walls. Thank you. From the worship team to the kids church, to the car park, to the cafe, to the ashes. Who else is there to welcome us to the get connected to the cafe, to everyone and anyone, thank you.

It's met with a heart of gratitude. And it's important that we understand serving it is more than just what you do in the house of the Lord. It's a decision you make where you say, I choose to serve God with my life. And I'm going to read to you a passage in Isaiah, Isaiah 42:1. And it says this.

Look at my servant whom I strengthen. He is my chosen one who pleases me. I have put my spirit upon him. He will bring justice to all the nations.

He will not shout or raise his voice in public. He will not crush the weakest reed or put up the flickering candle. He will bring justice to all who have been wronged. He will not falter or lose heart until justice prevails throughout the earth, even distant lands beyond the sea will wait for his instruction. What a powerful passage.

Powerful passage. Passage. And a description from God on the coming Messiah. The one that he sends, the one that he chooses, the one that he loves and he calls them. Look at my servant.

And this is a time here, the people of Israel, they're in deep pain, injustice, beaten, exiled, uncertain. Everything was loud, violent and unjust. And in the middle of it, God doesn't promise a political warrior or a celebrity leader. He introduces his servant. A servant that has quiet strength but a steady faith.

A servant that's not loud and screaming like clanging cymbals, but is patient with compassion and direction. And this morning, Church, I want to share with you what it means to be a servant of God and the title of my message. Look at my servant. Look at my servants. You know what, Church?

My wife is here with my newborn baby.

And as you're all aware, I've got three girls. Mom. And four girls. Sorry, my bad, my bad. Four girls.

House of Queens. House of Queens, Right. And there was a time where Pastor Foa lived in his household and he was king of the castle. Some of you men here going, oh, those were the days. You can do whatever you want.

No shouting, no screaming, no nothing. You can eat whatever you want. You can walk from one end to the other end. You can walk past the laundry room and not even hesitate and shut that door. I'll deal with that tomorrow.

Having kids, my roles have changed. Church.

I'm now a faithful servant. Yes, how may I help you? Right, that's my role now. Since when did my girls have a private chef? Since when did my household go from, hey, let's have a family dinner to hey, can we get spaghetti and bolognese and that?

And the other one will go, how about a salad, feta cheese and a bit of balsamic? You know what? That. Maybe some garlic bread to go with that. How about that?

Right, that's my role. My other role is the rubbish bin man. Hey, yeah, there's a few of you guys here, all right? No one's gonna do the rubbish. Go do it.

That's our role. The Mr. Fix It Guy. The Mr. Fix It Guy that get the girls ready for school guy, right?

I have mastered a high pony. I've mastered a hyper. It took me months, possibly years after hyponia. I'm going to challenge myself and go to a plat and see how I do that. I'm the colouring in Guy.

Who's the colouring in Guy with the kids? Raise your hands. Yeah, only a few. You want to know why there's only a few? Let's be honest, parents.

The kids don't know they're next door. How many of you guys actually like the drawings that your kids draw? Sure. Enough said. Enough said.

Faithful servant is my household role. And if I can be real for a moment. It's not easy. Many of you know that serving God and serving your home and the chaos and the screaming and the challenges, it's not easy. And the last month has been absolutely challenging for me.

But it hit me. This is servanthood. Since when did God call you by name and say, come and serve me. Look at my servant. Your life is going to be easy.

When did God say, come and join me. I'm going to give you everything you've ever wanted and you don't even have to lift a finger.

Better yet, I'll give you everything you want. You just say you're a servant, but you don't even have to go to church. Don't worry about that.

In Isaiah, God describes a servant that serves people in such a gentle and a committed way, a faithful way, no matter how hard it gets. And if I'm being honest, church, that's been our challenge, hasn't it? Maybe some of you here, you want to serve, or maybe you have served and you've kind of fallen short because it's a bit too heavy. It's too much. I can't bear it.

Can't carry it. So you withdraw yourself. But I want to challenge you. I want to challenge you with this. This morning.

That being a faithful servant means to truly endure through all seasons. And we're going to look at a passage in Isaiah, and I'm going to give you three foundational keys on how we can be faithful servants through all seasons. Amen. All right, the first thing is this. Chosen by God.

You, me, everyone else. Chosen by God. In verse one. Look at my servants. He is my chosen one.

Not only is this servant strengthened by God, he is also chosen. Faithfully. Serving God's mission means standing firm in your identity as God's chosen servant. Even when it's hard. Even when it's hard.

Church, you're not a mistake. You're not here by accident. You're not tolerated. You're not an afterthought. You're not something that he's just put together and go, here you go.

Deal with it. You are chosen.

Being chosen. And here's a challenge. Being chosen doesn't mean being spared from the pain. Being chosen does not mean you are spared from the pain. As a matter of fact, through the pain and through the challenges and the trials, that's when you really dig deep and you see what a chosen one looks like.

I could be chosen. Everything's going well in my life. My job is great. My wife likes me, my kids laugh at me. All these things because I'm chosen.

What happens when life hits? What happens when the persecution comes? What happens when the challenges come?

    Isaiah 53 paints this picture.

But he was pierced for our rebellion, crushed for our sins. He was beaten so we could be whole. He was whipped so we could be healed. Jesus is the chosen one.

Yet he was pierced, crushed, beaten and whipped. He was not chosen to escape suffering, but to endure it for the sake of others. The fulfillment of Isaiah and Jesus. He healed the sick. He welcomed the outcasts.

He stood with the lowly. He didn't silence the flickering. He didn't crush the bruised.

And ultimately, he bore their suffering all the way to the cross. But it doesn't stop with him. Church, now you and I are called. You and I are chosen. And do you believe that you're chosen?

We can tell ourselves every single day, I'm chosen by God, but my actions speak differently.

John 15:16 says this. You didn't choose me. I chose you. I appointed you to go and produce lasting fruit. The purpose of a chosen one.

To bear fruit, to do the work of the Lord. Not to stop when it gets hard. Not to stop when someone says something bad about you. Not to stop at all. It's to keep going.

    Keep going, never giving up.

Are you living out a chosen life this morning, Church?

Do you feel chosen not just to feel blessed, but to be a blessing to others? That is the life of a chosen one. You may not be the first pick in the eyes of the world, but you're God's first choice to fulfill the purpose he has for you. Let the truth shape your self worth. You are chosen.

And chosen people walk in confidence. Amen. That's the first foundational key. The second one we see here is strengthened by God. Strengthened by God.

Serve in God's strength, not your own. Who's trying to serve the Lord in their own strength.

Doesn't work, does it? How's that working, Alfie? I've been there. Trust me, I've been there.

God never asked for a servant to be self sufficient. The strength to serve doesn't come from personality, talent or confidence. It comes from God.

No one cares. He doesn't care what you look like. He doesn't care how well you can lead worship and how good you can play an instrument or how good are you making the room sound. He does not care about that. What he cares about is, are you connected to me?

Is your strength from me, not from your position in power?

And we see this in Isaiah again. Look at my servant. Look at him. Look at my servants whom I strengthen. Who the Lord strengthens.

This is not a strength within, this is a strength from above.

Whom I strengthen literally means to take hold, to support, to uphold. The new King James Version puts it this. Behold, behold my servant whom I uphold. Strength from the Lord. The connection keeps you steady, keeps you steady, Keeps you calm, Keeps you collective, Keeps you humble, Keeps you grounded.

Keeps you grounded. Why is that? Because too many times position and power can get to your head. Then you think that you're it in a bit. We are nothing without Christ.

    Amen.

That's what God does for his servant. He doesn't merely cheer him on from a distance. He takes hold of him. He carries him. He.

He upholds him. The strength of a servant doesn't come from within himself. It comes from the one who sustains him.

You don't grow strong by trying harder, Church. You grow strong by staying connected.

Staying connected. How many of you here go to the gym? Who's the gym people? Put your hands up. Yeah, there's a few of us.

I can see that. Keep it up. Guys, keep it up, keep it up.

Let me say. See, trying to grow strong without staying connected is like going to the gym once a year and flexing in the mirror like you're training for the Olympics. You show up, you lift two dumbbells, drink a smoothie and wonder why you don't have abs by Tuesday.

Many of you gym goers here and athletes, there's many of us here, we know what it means to keep going. My wife's laughing just a little bit too hard down here in the front. Bless her soul. Bless her after.

We know what it takes to keep going, each and every one of us. You got careers, you got goals, got achievements. You keep going, right? You don't stop. You don't stop for nothing.

You want that summer body? Yep, we're gymin it. We're all these things. I'm talking, like the slang, like I've been there. And every single part of our lives, we have things where we don't hesitate.

We keep going, we keep driving, we keep. We keep pushing through. Where is that in your walk with God?

You can have all the muscles in the world, but it's not going to help you, not in this fight.

You can have all the salads you want, and you can have the diet that you want, and you can have all these dreams and aspirations and all these things, but it is not going to help you.

The connection to the Father is what's going to help you. Connection to the Father. Seeking the Lord. Seeking the Lord. Look at the life of Jesus.

When he served, he served. No matter what cost. It was right. He served. And what did he do?

He had moments where he withdrew to spend time with the Lord. He seeked the Lord. In those quiet places. He left the multitudes who spend time with the Lord. Why?

For renewed strength. Give me strength. Give me wisdom. Give me grace, Give me knowledge. And then from there you venture out in your communities, in your lives, and you go, here it is.

Here is the word of God. That is the strength. That is the strength that God has promised here. Spiritual strength doesn't come from a single burst of energy. It comes from daily connection.

Jesus says this in John 15, 5. Yes, I am the vine, you are the branches. Those who remain in me, and I in them will produce much fruit. And this is it. Here, apart from me, you can do nothing without the strength of the Lord.

It struggles out. Each and every single one of us here has been through something or is going through something now.

But you're connecting. You're staying connected. You know, I was Talking via text message of one of. I wasn't going to share this. I'm not going to bring up this person's name.

And this person is going through something pretty heavy. Pretty heavy, right? And I'm messaging this person and saying, look, if you need, we're going to be praying for you and stuff like that. But it's what this person responds back with that really starts to stir me up.

Even what this person is going through. This person said, I'm already healed. In Jesus name.

You know what that tells me? Connected to the Lord. You know what that tells me? Chosen for a purpose, Strengthened from the Lord.

    I was surprised. I was expecting Pastor Fu, please, I can't do this anymore. I can't carry on. I can't keep doing this. I can't this, I can't that.

I can't that. No, I'm already healed. In Jesus name.

    He's already won.

The picture of a servant is not self made or self sustained. Picture of a servant is a quiet strength and a steady heart.

Just like a branch, it draws nourishment from the vine. So whether the servant is upheld or quietly serving in faithfulness, the source is the same. Abiding in the one who carries, empowers and never lets go.

What about you here this morning, Church? Are you trying to serve God in your own strength? What does that look like for you and your family? What does that look like for you? What would you change to shift that?

Are you worn out? Are you burnt out? Are you burnt out because you are doing the work? The kingdom work on empty.

    Receive his strength.

His strength strengthens those who serve him. Amen. Amen. Amen. Here's my third and final point.

Look at my servant. He is my chosen one. Look at my servant whom I strengthen. Look at my servant who pleases me.

You are called to live a life that pleases the Lord. That pleases the Lord faithfully. Serving God's mission means living for God's pleasure above all else through obedience, perseverance and surrender. If I can get the team up, please.

The new King James version says this. In whom my soul delights. In whom my soul delights. Don't we want that, Church? Don't we want to please the Lord?

We all want it. I want it. You want it. We all want to do whatever we can to please the Lord. It's good for the soul.

This is perhaps the most beautiful affirmation anyone could ever receive. He pleases me.

God isn't impressed by our platforms, personalities or performance. He's drawn to the heart that is fully his.

How does a servant please the Lord? How does a servant please the Lord? We're going to look at isaiah here. Verse 2. He will not shout or raise his voice in public.

Don't we live in a time right now where everything is a shout, everything is yelling, everything is clanging cymbals.

He would not shout or raise his voice in public.

The servant isn't forceful or attention seeking. He doesn't demand a spotlight or strive to prove his purpose. His power is quiet, humble and steady, the kind that doesn't need to be loud because it's rooted in something deeper.

Verse 3 He will not crush the weakest reed or put up the flickering candle. In verse three.

This is the heart of the servant. Tender care for the vulnerable.

How much do you love the person next to you?

The weakest reed and the flickering candle. They represent people that are barely holding on, just hanging on. I've got not. There's not much left. I'm just holding on.

And what God says when he sends a servant, look at my servant. He's not saying to them to crush them all. He sent them to go, it's okay, I got you.

That's what God says to you. I got you.

Verse 4 He would not falter or loose hat until justice prevails.

He will not falter or lose heart.

    Look at my servant.

He is my chosen one whom I strengthen, who pleases me, who will be quick to listen and slow to speak. He would be calm, gentle, compassionate.

He would not shy away from loving those who really need it. He would not let those that are just hanging on fall off. He would grab hold and he would dwell. So much heart, this servant. His motivation isn't the applause of people.

It's the pleasure of God. It's the to please God is to persevere. Persevere. It's hard. Obey when no one's watching and stay faithful until the very end.

Jesus modeled this perfectly. John 8:29 says this and the one who sent me is with me. He has not deserted me, for I always do what pleases him not. I always do what pleases me, what pleases Him. Am I always going to feel comfortable doing the things that pleases God?

No. Is it always going to be easy doing the things that please God? No. If it was easy to do this, we wouldn't be here. What would be our purpose?

Pleasing God isn't about instant access. It's about enduring obedience. God's servant does not quit even when justice feels slow, when the world seems Indifferent or when the mission feels costly, he doesn't falter or lose heart. And that's what he's saying to you. Don't lose heart.

Don't lose hope. Hold on, hold on. Keep going, keep going. Smile, laugh, eat, sing. Keep going.

Praise his name. Exalt his name.

What parts of your life are pleasing to God right now?

Are there areas where you're more focused on pleasing people than pleasing the Lord?

Is it people or is it the Lord?

What will you change today? Church. In order to please the Lord, what would you shift? What would you change? Who would you speak to?

Who would you listen to? Who would you pray for? Who would you intercede for? Who would you send a meal to? Who would you give a phone call to?

You know, this thing about serving, serving God.

It saddens me sometimes when I hear stories from people that have stopped serving the Lord.

But many conversations over the years, a lot of time I'd ask, but why?

It's just too hard. Life's too hard.

Broken up a relationship, work's been busy. There's just so much happening in the world and the life and all that are just not in the right head space to serve the Lord. While for starters, serving the Lord is not a headspace, it's a heart moment.

But here's the thing. Church. Why is it that the first thing we give up is serving God? Why is that the first thing? Why not give up something else?

Why not give us something else? You know, one of the reasons why I left chefing, I was a chef for many years. Why I left that space is because I couldn't find a restaurant or work in the industry that will allow me to have Sundays off.

So I changed careers. I left everything behind. Left my knives, my. My aprons, my tools, my whatever. Left it behind so I can be in the house of God.

There's going to come a point in, in your life and if you're not already there, we have to be real with yourself and go. No more excuses, no more.

I don't believe we serve a God that says, hey, listen, guys, I have chosen you, I have strengthened you, and you please me. Because you turn up at 10 o' clock on the dot every Sunday.

That's not the servant that's here.

It's more than just serving in your church walls, serving God with your life. What does that look like for you in community?

What does that look like for you and your families and your sport teams and, you know, maybe you are going to the gym and who are you? Who are you speaking to about Jesus living your life?

Isn't God greater than our challenges? Isn't he greater than our situations, our brokenness and our heartache? Is he greater?

He's greater than that. And you know what he sees in each and every one of you? And I see it. This room is full house. And I can promise you, God is saying something to you right now.

He didn't turn up for me. I hope he didn't. But if he turned up because God's stirring something in your heart to say, yeah, I want my hands to the plow. I want it now. I want to serve my lord.

Matthew Matthew 12:18 quotes Isaiah 40:2. It shows that Jesus life and ministry perfectly fulfills God's description of the coming Messiah.

Jesus is the fulfillment of Isaiah 42.

Everything God said his servant would be. Jesus lived it perfectly.

    And it says this.

Look at my servant whom I have chosen. He is my beloved who pleases me. I will put my spirit upon him. He will proclaim justice to the nations. He will not fight or shout or raise his voice in public.

He will not crush the weakest reed or pull out the flickering candle. Finally, he will cause justice to be victorious, and his name will be the hope of all the world.

What kind of servant do you want to be?

You want to be a servant where your name is on the roster and you turn up when Pastor Trevor texts you.

You want to be a servant that picks and choose when the serving part comes?

Or you want to be a servant? You want to be a servant where the Lord looks at you and he goes, look at my servant. Isn't he and she beautiful? Look at them go. You want to be a servant that says, oh, he has chosen me.

He is my chosen one and whom I strengthen. You want to be a servant where the Lord says, he pleases me, he pleases me, he pleases me. A servant. A servant with a heart of compassion, a heart of love. Verse 3.

He will not crush the weakest reed or pull out the flickering candle.

A servant that's confident, humble, persevering, never giving up, never stopping. And one verse four. That he will not falter or lose heart.

I sense this morning that many of you here are going through something. Or this week has just been one of those weeks.

Can I tell you that you're not alone, that the servant that God sends, he's never left you? You know what it feels like when God's left you is that you're falling out of line with the Father. Your heart is.

And I want to Encourage you here. This morning, I've actually got the team to lead us in worship.

And I want to invite you to come to the front for prayer.

    Maybe.

Maybe you've never given your heart to the Father and you want to do that this morning.

I want to encourage you, come forward. I'm going to be standing down here. I'm going to be right beside you. I can see some of you here of tissues and weeping there. Don't leave it down there on the seat.

Present it at his feet. And if you're here right now and there's been something stirring, you've been challenged by the word of God. Can I encourage you? Never too late. It's never too late to say, I choose to follow Christ.

Look at my servant who strengthens me, My chosen one. That is for you, Church. So as the team leads us, I'm going to invite everyone to stand. I'm going to open up the front here. And can I just say one thing?

I know how nerve wracking that is coming into the front. I've been there. I know how embarrassing it may look to walk in front of people and sit here and weep. I weep here. You know how long it took me to weep on platform?

It took one simple moment of connecting with the Father to say, I'm not worried what people see, but I will do my best to reflect his heart. So why don't we stand? Can you stand with me?

The team's just going to lead us. I'm going to be right here. Church.

O Lord, my God When I in awe, in wonder Conceive you the world Thy hands have made I see the star I hear the rolling thunder Thy plow to round the universe display Come on, sing that. Ch.

My son, my savior, God how great that how great thou art.

MAN sings My soul, My savior, God to me how great how how great thou art and when I feel that God sent him to die I scarce can take you that on the cross my burden gladly Mary. He blessed My savior God to me how great how great how great the how great and when Christ sat down with shout of acclamation and take me home what joy shall fill my heart Then I shall bow in humble adoration Love dancing my love how great thou art how great Thou art My soul, my savior God to me how great I hope how great Now My soul, my savior God to the how great Thou art how great now come on, Church, let's just sing that.

    Lift our voices. Come on.

    How great, how great.

Come on, let's lift our voices. Sing it one more time.

My soul, my sake, how great thou art.

My soul, my savior, God, to me, how great.

We're gonna continue. We're going to close our service, so we're going to continue praying up here in the front. The team are going to continue to lead us in worship. But I want to leave you with this.

There's more to you than what you see in yourself. What he sees in you is someone that's chosen something, someone that he strengthened by and a life that pleases the Lord. I encourage that over you family, encourage that. So I'm going to pray and then we're going to finish the service. You're more than welcome to head up for morning tea, but if you want prayer, we're going to keep the space, we're going to keep these lights down and we're going to stay in this moment.

Father, we thank you, Lord, for this opportunity that we get to. We get to do life, we get to do connection connected to the vine. Heavenly Father and I pray for every single soul here this morning. Every single heart, every single soul, every single child, every single aura with wisdom. Heavenly Father, I pray that you would continue to call them chosen, that you continue to strengthen them, that you'll continue to paint a picture to say, yes, my good and faithful servant, well done.

It's a life that pleases you, Lord. So we thank you, Father. We thank you, Lord, in all the churches. Amen. We're going to continue praying.

    Continue praying.
