Keys to Your Purpose
Message Moments & Highlights
Humility unlocks blessings. When you humble yourself, you attract the wisdom and experience of those God has placed around you. Without humility, we close the door to growth and to God’s favour. Humility is the key to greatness.
Whatever we do for the body of Christ must come from the place of love — not fear, not insecurity, not the desire to be seen. Love reflects God Himself, and when love leads, everything changes.
Greatness in God’s kingdom doesn’t come from status or education. Jesus showed us that the true path to greatness is serving others. The disciples, simple fishermen, became world changers — not because of power, but because they served.
Keys To Your Purpose
Discovering and activating your God-given purpose transforms your entire life trajectory. It begins with understanding that one divine encounter with God can completely shift your circumstances, breaking chains that seem unbreakable in the natural realm. The church plays a vital role in this process as the physical body of Christ on earth, where your gifts activate through seemingly small acts of service.Three essential keys unlock your calling. First, humility forms the foundation of purpose, opening doors and positioning you to receive wisdom from experienced leaders. Second, love energizes your purpose – not just as an action but as a presence you carry that brings healing and restoration to others. Third, service expresses your purpose, as Jesus taught that true greatness comes through serving others with humility and love. As you walk this path, beware of pride, offenses, and comparison – dangerous weapons that can destroy your calling. To fully activate your purpose, align your service with the vision God has given your church leaders. Ask them what's on their heart for this season and how you can help fulfill that vision. This alignment brings true greatness, not through position or power, but through humble, loving service that impacts others and advances God's kingdom.

The Three Keys to Activate Your Calling: Unlocking Your God-Given Purpose
Have you ever wondered what your true purpose is? Why you're here? What God has called you to do? These questions are fundamental to our spiritual journey, and the answers can transform our lives completely.
When we understand how to activate our calling, everything changes. It takes just one touch from God, one divine encounter, to shift the entire trajectory of our lives.
The Power of a Divine Encounter
An encounter with God can transform everything. When our spiritual eyes are opened, we begin to see beyond our current circumstances into the realm of possibility that God has for us.
Pastor Joseph shared a powerful testimony about a successful businessman struggling with heroin addiction who called it "the devil's drug" because "nobody gets off it." After six weeks of prayer, this man had a supernatural encounter where he heard God say, "It's not your fault." That single moment broke his addiction completely, and years later, he remains free.
This is the power of God's touch - one encounter can break chains that seem impossible to break in the natural realm.
The Church as the Body of Christ
The church isn't just a building or an organization - it's the physical body of Jesus Christ on earth. When we connect with the church, something spiritual happens: our gifts activate.
Many people miss their calling because they fail to understand this principle. Your gifting activates in very small things at first. It might be as simple as:
Standing at the door greeting people
Packing chairs before or after service
Serving in a seemingly minor role
These entry points are crucial. If you're not willing to serve in these small ways, you'll never progress to the greater calling God has for you.
Three Dangerous Weapons That Destroy Your Calling
As you begin to walk in your purpose, be aware of three dangerous weapons the enemy will use to destroy your calling:
Pride - Making you think the church can't function without you
Offenses - Causing you to hold grudges that block your spiritual growth
Comparison - Tempting you to ask, "Why am I doing this and not them?"
Remember what Pastor Joseph's senior pastor told him: "The church doesn't need you; you need the church." This perspective keeps us humble and focused on service rather than recognition.
The Three Keys to Activate Your Calling
Now, let's explore the three essential keys that will activate your God-given purpose:
1. Humility - The Foundation of Purpose
Philippians 2:4-5 teaches us to look not only to our own interests but also to the interests of others, having the same mindset as Christ Jesus. Humility is like the roots of a tree - though unseen, it's responsible for producing fruit.
Humility:
Opens doors that would otherwise remain closed
Positions you to receive wisdom from experienced leaders
Attracts God's blessings and favor
In today's world where AI and information are abundant, what's lacking is experience. When you humble yourself, you attract the experience of those God has placed around you, which is far more valuable than mere information.
2. Love - The Energy That Powers Purpose
Whatever you do for the body of Christ must come from a place of love - not fear, insecurity, or a desire for recognition. Colossians 3:14 tells us, "And above all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity."
Love is not just an action; it's a presence you carry:
Like the sun, it doesn't shine for itself but brings warmth and life to others
It makes your presence powerful, even without words
It draws people to you naturally
When you serve from a place of love, doors open wide before you. People who carry love don't have to think about how to help others - their very presence brings healing because they carry what it takes to bring restoration.
3. Service - The Expression of Purpose
Jesus redefined greatness in Mark 10:45 when He said, "For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many."
In Matthew 20:26, He further explained, "Whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant." This is the secret to greatness - serving others with humility and love.
The disciples were mostly uneducated fishermen, yet they became great men known throughout the world simply because they served. Even emperors and kings couldn't stand against these ordinary men who had been with Jesus.
Aligning with Vision
It's important to understand that you're never paid for action alone - you're paid for aligned action. Your service must align with the vision of your church and leaders.
Ask your leaders:
"What's on your heart for this season?"
"How can I fit into that vision?"
"Where do you need help the most?"
This alignment with purpose is what brings true greatness. It's not about doing what you think is best, but about serving in ways that fulfill the greater vision God has given to your leaders.
Life Application
As you reflect on these three keys to activating your calling, consider these questions:
In what areas of your life do you need to cultivate more humility? Are there people with experience you've been ignoring because of pride?
Are you serving from a place of genuine love, or have other motivations crept in? How can you reconnect with the love that Christ first showed you?
Where are you currently serving? If you're not serving anywhere, what small step could you take this week to begin?
Have you taken time to understand the vision of your church and how you might align with it?
The challenge this week is simple but profound: Approach your pastor or ministry leader and ask, "What is on your heart for this season, and how can I serve?" This single question, asked with sincerity, could be the beginning of activating your God-given purpose in ways you never imagined.
Remember, greatness in God's kingdom doesn't come through position or power, but through humble, loving service. As you apply these principles, watch how God begins to open doors and activate the calling He has placed on your life.

If you don't know Pastor Joseph, he's, he's been a faithful brother of the Connect family over the years. Right. He he's spoken here on our cultural Sundays, on our presence on the peninsula. And he's a brother. And so why don't we welcome him as he comes up and shares the word.
Hallelujah. Just want us to sing this song. Open the eyes of my heart. I want to see you. To see you high and lifted up, up.
Shining in the light of your glory. You know, if you can stand with me, I just want you to stand. And it takes one touch from the Lord for your entire life to change.
You know, I was 14, going 15 when I had my first, not the first, but the first very tangible encounter with God where the Lord opened my eyes. And I saw.
I saw something that words cannot explain.
I saw the glory of the Lord. I saw Jesus Christ.
Not as we describe him, not as we describe him. Far beyond any description. I saw his glory. I didn't see a face like it's been painted. I saw the glory of God.
And you know, when we say the book of life is not the book of life because our names are in it, the book itself is alive. Because what I saw in that vision was the book was speaking, the book was calling names, and the book knew the names of every person. And in that vision, the book called my name.
Everything will change when your eyes are open, everything will change. An encounter from the Lord can transform everything.
A man walked to me and he said I would die anytime from now. I said, why? He said, because I don't know how to break free from hell. Heroin. I'm ashamed to myself, my family and everybody around me.
And this is a man who is running a huge company. He called it. That day was the first day I heard him call this drug, the devil's drug. I said, why is it the devil? He said, because nobody gets off it.
It's the devil's drug. This is Satan's own drug, drugs. He said, but pray with me. I believe in the power of God. And when he said, I believe in the power of God, I knew that something would change.
We prayed six weeks, we were praying. I said, what do you want me to do for you? He said, just pray with me for six weeks. I said, okay, I commit myself. We prayed for six weeks.
And one day he was sitting down at his couch. He said, I saw this light and I heard a voice. It's not your fault. It's not your fault. He said, that day I broke free.
Six years to today, maybe six, five years plus now. He said, I've never touched that drugs. How it happened, I don't know. It takes one touch from God to change everything. It takes an eye to open to change everything.
I want you this moment. Worship God Open your heart.
I want to see you Jesus to see you I leave tear up shining Shining in the light of your glory.
There is an anointing in this eyes of my heart.
Open the eyes of my heart. I want to see you. I want to see you Jesus. I want to see you. See you now See high and leap.
Begin to pray. Shining in the light of your glory. Shining in the light of your glory. Pour out your power and love as we sing Holy, holy, holy.
Lift your hands up heaven. Lift your hands up heaven.
Lift your hands up heaven and say Father, Father come before you Opening my heart. Touch shame Shining in the light of your glory. Pour out your spirit Pour out your power and love as we sing Holy, holy, holy as we sing Holy, holy, holy. Tell Jesus something.
Tell Jesus something. Tell him. Tell him. Tell him. Tell him the intervention you need.
Tell him. Holy Spirit. We recognize your presence in this place. Holy Spirit. We acknowledge your presence in in this room.
And even those watching online from wherever you watching from. We acknowledge your presence and we say, God, heal us. We will be healed. Save us. We will be saved.
Let your name be glorified. Let your name be honored. Let your name be magnified. You, O God, are worthy. Worthy to receive glory.
Worthy to receive praise. Worthy to receive all thanks and adoration. For there is none like you and none can be compared with you. Father, there is nothing impossible with you. Your word says that you are the God of all flesh.
There is nothing too hard for you. Lord, I speak this movement moment that there will be a breakthrough in this place. I speak this moment that God, there will be a breakthrough in this place. Let every form of oppression be lifted. Anxiety, depression.
We declare the word of God. Let God's word come forth with power and anointing. Breaking yokes, shifting things. Aligning us with your will, Father. Align us with your will and your purpose.
Align us, God. Align us, God. Align us, God, with your will and your purpose. We declare that addiction has no power over our lives. We speak that oppression are lifted by your name.
We declare that families are aligned and peace is spoken. Father, let your grace and your anointing that breaks the yoke be released over this place. Over each and every person here. Representing families. God, we speak your word.
In Jesus precious name we pray. Amen. Amen. Amen. Give Jesus a big hand of praise.
That is for you. The next one will be for Jesus. Now you put your hands together For Jesus. Amen. Amen.
Praise God. Praise God. Praise God. What a beautiful worship this morning. Truly, truly.
You know, it's a beautiful worship. It's good to have worshipers who pray before the worship. Worship. You know, it is only when worshipers pray before they worship. You see the power of God move now.
You have your seat above all principalities and powers. Amen. Have your seat above all principalities and powers. Wickedness in high places. Thank you, Tim.
God bless you. I do. I do honor your. Your senior pastor. He's a good man.
How many of you know that? You got a very good senior pastor. Pastor Adrian. He's a man of vision. I sit with him many times, and all I do is to listen to the wisdom that comes from out of that man.
And one thing I can say here is that he's a man who has clarity of what he wants to do. I've experienced, you know, when he speaks, he speaks with clarity, and he knows exactly what God wants him to do. And you have beautiful pastors. You know, I was saying last night. I was here last night.
How many of you were here last night? Amen. We're going to have a little quiz here, and I hope you get it. Praise God, because I got a gift for you. I was saying last night, never get familiar.
And this is something that my senior pastor told me. He said, never get familiar. He said, you can be familiar with the man, but never get familiar with the anointing they carry, because if you miss it, you miss everything. Your leaders carry an anointing that has the power to activate your calling. And you need to be able to recognize that anointing, even though you are familiar with them, you need to be able to recognize that.
And it is important, and I feel most of the time in the Western hemisphere, we are too familiar with the person, and we fail to understand that the anointing of God upon that person can actually unlock a lot of things in their lives.
I teach my congregation that there are certain things you go through. You need to. To come to your senior pastor and say, I know you are my friend, but let's put that on the same. I come to you as a spiritual son or daughter, and I want you to speak in this situation. One word from your spiritual leader can break that yoke.
Only one word, because you are into the frequency that God has called him. And don't ever miss that. Don't miss that. Don't get too familiar. Today I'll be speaking to you on the team.
The three keys to activate your Calling or the three keys to activate your purpose. There are three keys to activate. There may be many, many, many. But these three are very critical. They are very critical.
There may be many and you may know many that I don't know know. But these three I was taught and I have implemented and it has worked. So I can tell you of the things that have worked. But. But last night we talked about three very important things.
We talked about many things last night. But who remember the three dangerous weapon the enemy can use to destroy your calling.
If you name all three of them, I'll give you a gift. Say it's a beautiful gift.
Three of them. Who can remember all three?
You got it? What is it?
Pride, offenses and comparison. I got a gift for you. This is a cross. I carry it around and you got a heart into it. Amen.
I also want to recognize. I know my wife is here. She's somewhere at the back there. And by the grace of God, if you are somewhere there, can you give a wave? Maybe she's in the kids place.
All pastors are having babies now. It's like Jesus is coming soon. I got a two year old, she's there. Jesus is coming soon. Amen.
There are three keys. There are three keys we talk about yesterday we spoke said the church is the is the physical body of Jesus Christ. Therefore you need to come to church to be able to connect with the physical body. And once you get connected with the physical body, something spiritually happens. Your giftings activate and your gifting activates in very little things.
It could just be standing at the door, but that is not the calling. Actually that is just the entry to the calling. But if you don't stand at that door, you cannot 10 years later become a part of pastor. You must be first be able to stand at that door. But what we do most of the time is when we walk in churches, we complain.
But every complaint you complain is an assignment. Actually any complaint people just complain. Any complain is an assignment. When you see something going wrong, God is calling you towards something I said. Last night I started a ministry only by packing chair chairs come in the morning because we used to have church in the school, in the school place.
Come in the morning, pack the chairs, wait for the service to finish and pack the chairs off. That's why I started. How I got to where I am today I can't fully explain to you. But these three things I'm going to share with you today helped me and I had very good spiritual mentors. Today I'm here in this nation and God is so good to me.
I didn't know that I would be here today. Today I didn't know I would be in this place. You know, starting just from packing chairs. That's all I did. I went to the pastor, I said, what can I do?
He said, oh well, you can start to pack the chairs. And I started packing chairs. That's all I did. And today God has brought me to a place like this. I never knew I would come in a country like this and be chased by, by, by by by by by national media.
I never knew. I never knew that one day I would see my photo on Herodson. I never knew that one day I'll be on channel 9. Never knew that one SBS will be chasing me. I never knew that one day I'll be at the church and someone is sending me a message saying that we want to honor you with a doctorate degree.
I said, how? I said, because you deserve it. I said, well, I have not done anything for doctorate degree. I said, no, we give you a doctorate degree because you deserve it. And today they said, doctor.
I said, how did I become a doctor? I don't know how I became a doctor. Doctor of divinity. But it was a simple entry point that God called me. But there was a church that I went to and that church was a group of people.
It was a physical body of Jesus Christ. And I walked in that place. And in that place there was a need. And that need activated my calling. And from that moment they started telling me to do different things because trust was built.
And from there I started adding value. And up to this day I am adding value. But these were the three things I did. And I said to you last night, when you begin to move in this dimension, there are three things that will happen to you. Very dangerous.
Not that it's coming from you, but the enemy will try to pull you away. Number one is pride. He sow a seed of pride, making you to think that without you it cannot happen. And I told you yesterday and sorry, if you're going to be offended. The church does not need you.
Understand this. It's like my senior pastor told me this many, many times, son, the church does not need you, you need the church. Always know this, son. The church does not need you. You need the church.
And that was true. And that was true. Offenses is a seed of the enemy. Comparing when people begin to say but why am I the one doing it, not them? The devil has sown the seed.
The devil has sown a seed. Now these are the three things you will do for your gifting, for your purpose to be activated.
Number one, humility.
Humility. The Bible says in Philippians, chapter four, chapter two, verses four to five. Five.
Humility is a key that opens doors that you can never imagine, even in your family.
Wherever you go, humility opens the door for you. Because the thing is, when you are humble, you are moving with God. God. There is no door that humility cannot open.
It's powerful. It's so powerful that it can take a nobody from nothing to get them to something. Humility is powerful and it's manifest in this way. Not looking to your own interest, but each of you to the interest of the other in your relationship with one another, have the same mindset. So what's the mindset of Jesus?
The Bible says that he humbled himself to the cross. This is what humility does. Jesus humbled himself to the cross. When you talk about humility, it's like a trick tree. It's like the roots of the tree.
The roots go down in the ground. It's like hidden. It's like lowly. But if you really look very well, you begin to understand that even though it is unseen, it is responsible for the fruits. Even though it is unseen, it is responsible for the fruit.
Humility seems like law, but it is not law. So humility is actually what is responsible for honor, for strength and for blessings. And what the world means today is humility. Particularly for the young generation. AI tells them to know everything, but I guarantee you, you don't.
Because AI is not a human being. You don't go through the pain. So when God put people in your life, life like pastors, like church leaders, like your parents, whatsoever, they are the embodiment of an experience, communication. To speak something is different from to pass an experience. If information could change life, this generation will not be taking their lives because there is so much information.
But what the generation ignores is experienced. When you listen to your parents, they are not passing on to you words, they are passing on to you spirit. Jesus said, the words I speak to you, they are not words, they are spirit. And the only way spirit can be transmitted only through experience. AI will not help you.
You read, you get an information. Someone can. To me, most of the young people, I asked them about marriage and they actually counsel very well. But you get into it. You will leave tomorrow morning.
I had a professor, very good. He taught us some courses on marriage. And there was an old man in our class at the Bible college. He said, said Aziz, you don't have the right to teach me about marriage. He had two master's degree.
And the old man said, you don't have the right. Are you married? He said, no. He said, you can't teach me. He wrote a petition and he said, all of us sign it.
This man cannot teach us marriage. He was a good man, but he said, you can't. I've been married for 57 years. Everything you are saying is not true.
And he wrote a petition and we all signed. And as he stopped teaching. Now guess what? One year later, Aziz got married six months, he ran away from his wife. Guess who brought him back.
This old man brought him experience humility. When you humble yourself, you attract the experience of people. God has set around you and you become a great person. People who are not humble will never attract the blessings of God in their lives. Humility is key.
The second thing, which is actually the pure energy of vibration or presence that you should be in when you do other of this is love. It has to come from the place of love.
Love is key in doing whatever you doing for God. How many of you remember the scripture that says if you don't have love, you don't have God because God himself is love. Whatever you do for the body of Jesus Christ, it must be done from the place of love. Love not fear, not insecurity, not wanting to be known, not wanting to be popular, not wanting to be the pastor, senior pastor's friend, or your ministry leader friend. But coming from the place of love, it means from the place of God himself.
And when you bring love, things change.
Things change.
The Bible says in Colossians, chapter 3, verse 14 and above all these virtues put on love, which binds all together in perfect unity. Love is a virtue that nothing can stand.
It's beyond words.
Everybody experience love without you telling them. That's why we see babies and something inside us just leap without them saying anything. Because they are the very embodiment of love. Something changes.
Anybody who. And let me say this now, I'm very mindful when I'm saying this one. Anyone who hurts a little baby is not themselves. Something evil has taken over them. Because when you look at a baby, the baby is so powerful that it renders you powerless to harm it.
The baby is so powerful that it cripples evil because it's the very carrier, the essence. People are in distress. What they want one is to see a baby. Something in their heart will change. And when we serve God from that place of deep love, doors open wide before us.
It's like the sun, it never shines for itself. It warms and brings forth life and brings growth and brings beauty. Show me someone who serves from the place of love. I will show you the person who when they appear, God himself is present. When they appear in the place, God himself is present.
God speaks through them. God heals people through them. God ministers through them. A loving person does not have to think about how to heal people. They just have to appear and people will be healed because they carry what it takes to bring healing.
It was love that saved the world. It was love that redeemed the world. Love is not an action. It is not a description. You cannot.
When Jesus appear the very embodiment of the love, of the love of the Father, Father, everything changed because he carry love. Love is powerful. And some of you in your family, you are that. You are that. You are that hope.
You are the person who people can walk around and they will find you and they will come to you. They'll come to look for you. They will come to your house. You are the person in your family and never lose that. You don't need to do much when you carry love.
Broken family members will look for you. They will come to you. They will come to visit you. They want you to come home when they are tired. They want you.
Not that you have to do anything, but your presence changes everything. Because you are carrying God in the inside of you. And don't lose it. Don't start to complain. Why am I the only person everyone is coming to?
Why am I the only person they call when there is a trouble? Be grateful that your presence defeats oppression. Be grateful that they got somebody they can call. Be grateful that they got someone they can run to. Because you carry Christ.
Christ is not a person we talk about. Yes, we will talk about him as a person. But Christ is a present we carry. And you and I, we carry that present. And we need to carry the present.
Love is powerful.
Serve from the place of love. Serve your church from the place of love.
Nobody can resist love. Nobody can resist love. And everyone understands it even when they don't speak what you speak. Why do you listen to music that you don't understand but you do know? I see some people are completely sold.
They are. They're watching this Korean movies of love. They never hear. They never speak Korean. Never.
But they are completely in. They will tell you all the series because it talks about love. They don't understand Korean. My daughter was on that. I said what he said.
I don't understand. I don't hear what they say, But I understand, because love speaks more than words.
So don't worry about whether people will. No, don't worry. Carry love. They will come around you. They will come around you.
They will follow you. You give them opportunities to be able to serve and finally equip it for functionality. And that is service. The word function is the word service.
You know, Jesus redefined greatness. How many of us want to be great? You really want to be great? I will show you the secret to be great. Great.
It's easy. How many people want to be great? We all want to be great. Look at your neighbor and say, don't you want to be great?
We all want to be great. But Jesus has made greatness so simple that every person can be great. That's how simple it is. Because he made it very simple. Not only that, he made it.
He demonstrated how to be great. It's so simple, but people don't do it. I have a friend of mine who is a rich man. He said to me, wisdom. If I call 100 people in this room and I tell them I have the secret for riches, only two will follow the instructions.
Even though everybody want to be rich, I say how he said, because that's how it is. There is no secret to be rich. But if I tell hundred people, only two we follow, he said, because there is no secret for riches.
Now Jesus gave us the secret of being Great. Mark, chapter 1045. Mark 1045. Life. It's very clear.
Listen, brother, you can work in this church today. In the next two years, I guarantee you with no doubt that you will be a great man. If you only serve. No doubt, two years later, I will come here and your life will be very different. And people will be around you.
I guarantee you with the word of God. Try it. Try it and serve. See?
Try it. Just two years. Complete dedication. In service with humility and love. In two years, you will be far ahead of many people who have been here for 10 years.
It's a simple secret for those who want to be great.
He demonstrated it. And then he said In Matthew, chapter 20, verse 26, Jesus said, I didn't come to be served. I come to serve. And if you want to be like me and want to be great and take the seat that is above every other, you know, you can take the seat that is above every other in your family. Not in pride, in complete humility, but you can actually take the seat that every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that you are great.
You can take that seat it's not a competition, it's an understanding, it's a frequency.
He said here, but it shall not be so with you. But whoever will be great among you must what? Let him be your minister. This is the secret of greatness. Whoever want to be great among you, let them serve.
That person must be the one to serve. Whoever want to be great among you, whoever. And this is what made the disciples uneducated, most of them not fully educated fishermen. They became great men and the whole world knew them, including us today. Just because they serve, that was all they did.
They changed the entire. Even emperors, kings could not stand these ordinary fishermen. And people were even asking, who are they, these men? They are just fishermen. Who are they?
And in one instance, Peter is sitting down the talking and someone come and say, I mean this guy, he speaks like Jesus. And someone said, yeah, he's been with Jesus. He knows what to do. He knows what to do. As I close church, you want to be great.
It's no secret, you know it. But this is going to happen by you purely submitting to the vision of this church. Church. How many of you know that you are never paid for action? You are paid for aligned action.
You can want to do a lot of things, but if you want to do is not aligning with the vision of this church, you are completely out of it. It must align. That's why you, you have to understand the heart of your leader.
You need to be able to understand the heart of your leader. Walk to your leader.
What's your heart? What's your heart? What's in your heart for this season? How can I fit into that in this season? I always used to ask my senior pastors, what is on your heart for this season and how can I fit in?
That is alignment with purpose. And it's actually what, what brings greatness. Alignment with purpose. Now if you are in this room today and you feel in your heart, I truly want to serve God. I don't know what to do.
God, open my eyes, lead me and guide me. Teach me what to do.
I want to pray with you.
I want to pray with you, God. I want to be humble. I want to serve from the place of love. I don't know what to do, but I truly want to serve.
I don't know where to start, but I want to serve.
I just don't want to serve. But serve in alignment with what you have called because this ministry got a purpose, got a vision. I want to serve into that. I want you to give me away from where you Are just raise your hand. God, I need the grace to be.
Be able to serve. I need clarity in what needs to be done. God bless you. God bless you.
And if you can stand from where you are, maybe, maybe you walk to the altar and just kneel here and say, I bring myself to you, God, I bring myself to you. I don't know what to do, but I really want to serve. I want to be active in the body. I want to be one with what you are doing. I want to be fitted into the purpose.
You can just come in new, you know, the altar is a place. It's a beautiful place. It's a place where when we come, we say, God, I know I cannot do it on my own, but I come because it's through you that all things are possible. And I am coming here as a sign of surrender to say, guide me. Lead me in the path that you want me to go.
Lead me. Lead me. That's all you're doing today. You're saying, God, I want to serve. Lead me.
Give me clarity.
Give me clarity. I want to be effective. I want to be useful. I want to add value. I don't want to leave this world the same way I met it.
I want to be able to make a mark that when I'm gone, I will be remembered. And the church is the best place you can do that because the church have provided you the platform to be able to be effective is the body of Jesus. It's not just a coming together of people. It carries power to activate things.
Holy Spirit.
Holy Spirit. These are vessels.
Vessels of honor. Vessels wanting to be used. Father, on our own, we can do nothing. Through you, God, all things are possible. I pray God for clarity.
And activate Holy Spirit. We can do nothing our own. But through you, all things are possible. Today, God, I speak God. Activate.
Lord, we can do nothing on our own. But through you, all things are possible. And today, God, I pray you, activate. Father, we can do nothing on our own. But through you, all things are possible.
Activate God.
Holy Spirit, activate.
Lord, we surrender ourselves to you.
Only you can change. Change us.
Only you, God, can use us. Only you, Jesus, can mold us. And we surrender. Thank you, Lord.
In Jesus name. In Jesus name. Amen. Amen. Amen.
You put your hands together for Jesus now. Now listen. For those of you who have come here, don't finish it. At this altar here is to walk to your senior pastor. To walk to your pastor or your team leader.
Ask them only one thing. What is on your heart and how can I serve? How Can I serve? And that will be the start for you. To God be the glory.
God bless you.
We go past the dress of a hand. How awesome was that?
I'm gonna invite everyone to stand. Invite everyone to stand.
We're gonna worship. We're gonna worship a few moments.
You I want to see you Open the eyes of my heart, Lord Open the eyes of my heart. I want to see you I want to see you Declare this church to see you. I lift it up shining in the light of your glory Pour out your power and love as we see Holy, holy, holy Declare this church and love as we sing Holy, holy, holy. Sing Holy, holy, holy, holy. Thank you for his ministry. Thank you for his servant heart, Lord, thank you that you have blessed us of this mighty man of God and you have reminded us what surrender looks like. So Father, we thank you Lord, Pray that you would have your way and continue to do so. In Jesus name we pray. Church, why don't we give Pastor Joseph another hand?
I just want to do one last thing. You can take your seats. You can take your seats. We're going to take up a love offer offering for Pastor Joseph and his beautiful family. We really just want to bless you guys on your journey and your ministry and really support the work that you guys are doing not only in communities but around the world impacting lives and that.
So if we can please pass the buckets, if you need an envelope, please raise your hands and we have the giving details on screen. How good was that church? Yeah. Awesome. What a reminder.
So a few things as a recap. Next week I'll be bringing the word and then we have a connect expo on Sunday.
Offices will be closed and the 5th of October, Pastor Adrian will be back with our powerful word and we're a new friends lunch. Amen. So here's what we're going to do. We've got some time. We're going to finish up here, but team is going to lead us into worship and we're going to finish big and we're going to declare that he is God and in your journey and in your season.
I don't know what you're going through right now. What does surrender look like for you in your life? And I pray that God blesses you on your journey. That you stay faithful, you stay strong, you stay planted. Knowing that you have a purpose.
And. Amen. All right, let's stand. Church.
Pour out your power and love as we sing? Holy, holy, holy? Only to see you? Shining in the light of your glory?
Pour out your power and love as we sing? Holy, holy, holy, holy? To see you high and lifted up?
Shining in the light of the glory?
Pour out your power and love as we sing? Holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy, holy. I want to see you.
Thank you, Church. Have a great rest of your day. See you around.
